About Us
Our 19 years experience ensures that we provide a safe and fun learning environment for you. Our school is approved by the department of Education for the teaching of English as a foreign language, MEI RELSA and ACELS. Our Riding school is AIRE & BHS approved
Accommodation.
Students can choose to stay in our residential accommodation or with one of our select host families.
Our residential centre is situated less than one minutes walk from the Atlantic coast and 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Each house has 4 spacious rooms which accommodate up to 8 students.
We work closely with a small network of host families to ensure that each student has a home from home experience.
Level Assessment
Every student is given a test on first day of class and they are assigned to the level which suits them the most, the same applies to the riding.
English Classes
The English classes run for 3 hours every morning/afternoon depending on the level of the students. Reading, writing, oral and listening are covered each day in the classes by fully qualified teachers. On average there are 8 students per class.
Horse Riding
The Horse Riding runs for 3 – 3.5 hours every morning/afternoon depending on the level of the students. With over 45 horses and ponies to choose from, each guest receives a pony for the duration suited to their level. The activities include beach rides on our 10km stretch of beach, treks through our rolling sand dunes, lessons, lunging, video analysis, flatwork, jumping cross country for the novice upwards(weather dependant) and stable management.
Evening Activities
Evening activities can be included in the package. The evening activities are 3 evenings a week and include water sports, cinema, art and music workshops, Traditional Irish Music Sessions etc.
Cultural Excursion
On Saturday's students can choose between our weekly cultural excursion or further Riding. Destinations include:
- Slieve League and Donegal Town
-The Great wall of Derry and Derry City
- Queen Meabh's Grave & Sligo
- Glenveagh National Park and Letterkenny
Inclusive Package(available to groups only)
The English and Riding package is all inclusive and includes accommodation, full board, 15 hours of English per week, 17 hours of horse riding per week, a cultural excursion each week and 3 evening activities. The package can be tailormade to suit your requirements, please contact us for more information.
One To One English and Riding
The One to One and Riding package is all inclusive and includes accommodation, full board, 10 hours of individual lessons & 17 hours of Riding per week
English and Riding Only
The English and Riding Only Package includes 15 hours of English provided every morning and 14 hours of Surfing per week. All equipment is provided.
Transfers
We car arrange transfers from Dublin for €45 each way on the condition that students arrive between 10 – 6.00 pm on Sundays.
Dates
The dates we operate are the first Sunday of every month for March, April, May and September and every Sunday for June, July, August & September
