NOTES

1.The English and Riding/Surfing programmes are available  Easter, 2 – 23 April, 11 June – 3 September. The English and Multi Activity programme is available for students 13 – 16 years of age only and runs June to September.

2.The English & Surf programme is suitable for students of beginner to intermediate level. The camps for advanced students are 11-25 June  and 13 August – 3 September.  If advanced surfers come outside of these dates, their lessons will be at intermediate level.

3.The English and Riding programme is suitable for students with some riding experience (competent at canter and above.it is not suitable for beginners).

4.The Junior residential accommodation is situated beside the Atlantic coast and within 3 minutes’ walk of the school and 15 minutes’ walk of the town centre.  The 4 bedroom houses are very spacious with sitting room, dining room and a well equipped kitchen and free WIFI. There are three to four students per room, three to four bathrooms per house. The houses accommodate 8 – 11 students per house and 1 coordinator. Breakfast is provided in the house.  Lunch and dinner is provided at the school canteen.

5.We also work with a select number of host families that provide a home from home experience. Students who opt for host family have breakfast and 4 dinners with the family. A warm lunch is provided at the school canteen Monday to Friday, a packed lunch on Saturday. Lunch on Sunday is with the family.  3 evenings a week the students have dinner at the residential centre followed by an activity. Students are either picked up by the family or brought home with the school bus. There is a €40 supplement for host family per week in June, July and August.

6.No refund will be made if a student makes alternative accommodation arrangements during their stay with us. No allowance is made for absence during stay or for late arrival or early departures.

7.Airport Transfers from Dublin are €60 each way in peak season (April, June to 3 September) Collections are between 10am – 5.30 pm and drop offs are between 11 am – 6.00 pm on a Sunday. The transfer fee for a private transfer is €240 one way. Transfers are grouped together, students will have to wait for the arrival/departure of other students.

8.We also offer collections from Knock airport which has flights from Italy.  For an individual transfer the fee is €95 one way and if sharing the transfer the fee is €50 per person.  There is also a public bus every two hours which costs €16.  We then offer free collection/drop off from the local bus stop.

9.European citizens must bring a EHIC European Health Insurance Card (E128). Medical Insurance can be arranged  at a cost of approximately

€40 for four weeks or under

€50 for six weeks or under

€55  for 12 weeks or under

Additional Notes

•  There is a €40 supplement per week for host family in June, July and August

•  A fee of €45 per week applies to students who have special dietary requests eg nut allergy, celiac.  A fee of €15 per week applies to students who are lactose intolerant.

•  Class hours are reduced to 2 hours for class sizes of 3 or less.

•  We accept students 8 – 10 years of age on the following dates 11-25 June and 13 August – 3 September.  Please revert to the family programme for more information

•  For group prices or for prices on the Language, Culture and Activity Package (September to May) please contact us direct.

•  On Bank Holiday Mondays (17 March, 17 April, 1 May, 5 June, 7 August & 30 October 2017), there will be no English classes, students are offered an excursion in place.
